Our business activities in response to the Great East Japan Earthquake

We extend our deepest sympathies to those who were stricken by the Great East Japan Earthquake and all those concerned.
We also hope for the earliest possible recovery to all our affected customers and subcontractors.
We were not directly damaged, however, due to the influence of damage to our subcontractors mainly in the Tohoku region, it is likely that arrangements for machined parts, etc., will be significantly delayed.
Furthermore, logistics functions have still not returned to normal, and deliveries to the Tohoku region and in the direction heading toward Ibaraki are still facing difficulties. Under such circumstances, deliveries to other areas require longer times than usual. (Since we are currently collecting information, we will inform you again as soon as we grasp the situation.)
With the implementation of planned outages, we will continue to fully cooperate with Tokyo Electric Power Company’s power-saving measures. Therefore, there will also be restrictions on operations at our Technical Center (Kawagoe) for the immediate future.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but your understanding and cooperation would be greatly appreciated.
We offer our prayers for the disaster-stricken areas to be restored as soon as possible. Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything we can do.
